“Mosura ya Mosura” come on and sing along with the Cosmos

Ahoy maties! Today I have wanting to share my ideas on making my own custom-made and fan-made Godzilla acton figures of the Cosmos from “Godzilla vs. Mothra: Battle for Earth” and “Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla”. There have been various action figures of Godzilla, the fairies’ guardian Mothra, Gigan, SpaceGodzilla, the MUTOs, Destoroyah, Battra, King Ghidorah, Gabara, MOGUERA, Megalon, Gorosaurus, Anguirus, Rodan and everybody else. But , Bandai Creation, Tamashi Nations SH Monsterarts, nor NECA did not make figures of them. Bandai has made figures of the Shobijin (Tokyo SOS versions that are not the 1992 Cosmos) with Godzilla and Kiryu Mechagodzilla. However Kaiyodo happened  to make resin statues of the Cosmos. One fun fact is that they were production when Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992) was in production for some shots.

My idea of making own Cosmos fairies is a wonderful idea because I want to have own Cosmos action figures for my Godzilla display. Also all you of folks who also love those fairies like I do, I will also teach you how to make your own.

Here is a list of things and supplies you will need

  • Some Asian dolls. You can use a Chinese, Korean, or Japanese girl dolls
  • Some red Asian fabric
  • some jewelry
  • A Google image of the Mothra Cosmos. Please type in “Mothra Cosmos” or “Godzilla Cosmos” on the search bar and use some the images for reference.

To buy the Asian girl dolls, try Etsy, Amazon or better eBay for a selection. Try one of these ones . After you bought them, the next step is to design their skirts and put in jewelry on them. Use the Google images so you can copy and build it. Step three is to put on the attire and footwear on them and voila! You got yourself a homemade version of the Cosmos. You even use them for Godzilla G-Fest or Godzilla Movie Night cosplay. You can use a pet carrier to reenact the scenes from Godzilla vs Mothra Battle for Earth.
